Little Free Library

The Little Free Library can be found on the upper patio next to the church’s sanctuary (worship) building. All are welcome! Use of the Little Free Library is not limited to members of Trinity. You are encouraged to bring your children to check out a new book for reading at home!

What is a Little Free Library?

A Little Free Library is a “take-a-book, return-a-book” gathering place where neighbors share their favorite literature and stories for free. There are usually children’s books; sometimes there are books for adults. Often a Little Free Library is an outdoor box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and return a book to share.A Little Free Library is run on the honor system—the vast majority of the time no one supervises the returning and taking of books. There’s no “stealing” books, however. You can’t steal a book that is free! And eventually someone who takes a book without returning one will realize that it’s not a good thing to do.

You can find a Little Free Library in many towns and cities across the United States. There is a world map of registered Little Free Libraries here.
